This isn't exactly the team Bob Braman was hoping to have at this point of the season.

The Florida State track and field coach doesn't have sprinter Charles Clark or long jumper Ngoni Makusha — both of whom won national championships last season — with him today in Greensboro, N.C., for the start of the 2010 East Regional Championships.

"We've really had a lot of adversity to overcome," Braman said.
