5. Stanford
         Stanford Invite showed strength, fourth place finish at Notre Dame by "B" team showed depth

6. Oklahoma
        Showed incredible depth at Paul Short against not great competition, may be equal or superior to three ranked ahead of them

First six will battle for trophies, then there is everyone else

7. Indiana
Cornell transfer Dannemiller helps but still crushed by Cowboy partial squad at Jamboree

8. BYU
         Dominated Notre Dame Invitational

9. Syracuse

         Syracuse did not run well at Paul Short but mostly due to 2 of top 5 not running

10. FSU
          Lost to BYU at Notre Dame Invitational but ran well

11. Oregon
          Luke and Lukas did not run at Dellinger but the talented freshmen and sophomores ran well

12. Northern Arizona
        Estrada indicated at Coyboy Jamboree that he will challenge for title but Chipangama is not back to fifth place performance from 2009

13. Princeton
         Split squad gained experience at Notre Dame and Paul Short

14. Georgetown
          Graduate transfer (Maryland) Alex Lundy makes impact at Paul Short

15. Portland
          Osoro just had second run of the year at Willamette Invite and Malde yet to run

16. NC State

17. Arkansas
         Fifth at Cowboy without Haile

18. Providence
         Sixth at Paul Short without top 2 runners

19. Arizona
         1-2 of Lalang and Sambu needs back-up

20. Columbia
        Third at Paul Short
